I seem to be having this really frustrating issue with my sims 3 at the moment. I just got a new laptop, which is updated to windows 10, and put all my sims 3 games on it. Whenever I try to play the game, it loads up to the very end of the bar and says 'the sims 3 has stopped working'. I've tried turning down the graphics, and removing mods and cc, but nothing seems to work. It worked fine on my old laptop which was a lot cheaper and not as good quality. It wouldn't be a windows 10 issue because when I tried creating a save on just the base game before downloading the expansion packs and it worked perfectly fine. Does anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this issue? The expansion packs I have are: World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, Generations, Pets, Master Suite Stuff, Showtime, Supernatural, Seasons, University Life, and Island Paradise.
