Game Options Reset Somehow

Tonight, my game enabled aging, music and some other stuff.  I saved it the way I want it.

My question is:  Will I have to reset a handful of options each time I play?

You shouldn't have to reset your game options every time you play. However, each time you need to update graphics drivers you will need to reset the options.

You can either take notes on what you've set the option on, or use the notes linked below to restore the game options.

I will write down the settings because I don't really understand the other way.  Thanks for the information .

You can save the options.ini file in your sims 3 folder to another location for backup, so if the game does reset your options you can copy & paste the backed up file into the folder.

The options.ini file is located here:
C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Options.ini
