Where is the disable memories button?

How do I disable memories?  I want to ensure that my Sims pay their bills because I don't feel like seeing the repo man again --- which wasn't that bad, it was just a big surprise.

I can't remember which tab has it ingame, but you can do it before you launch the game by:

1. Go to your the sims 3 folder (where all your screenshots etc are)
2. Double click the Options.ini file
3. find a line that says "enablememories = " and a number
4. change the number to 3
5. save the file

That should disable memories.

Alternately, if you want to do it in-game, click "options" and then go to the "General Settings" tab. There's a dropdown menu about memories. Just select "disable memories" and apply the changes, and you should be good to go.
