Sims 4 Screen Problems! (Mac)
« on: October 16, 2016, 11:33:25 AM »
Hi,
So today I bought the sims 4 to play on my mac.
Extremely excited to play, I loaded it up only to find that the screen suddenly had what looks like black and white lines in front of the game!
I can see that it has loaded up fine behind.
I cannot seem to find anyone who had the same issue  :'(
Anyone know how to help?  :)

If updating the graphics drivers doesn't help. It may be best to have a look at this thread linked below to see if any of it's troubleshooting tips help.

All my drivers are update, unfortunately.
Nothing on that link really describes my issue.
Thanks though!

I think I've found the solution on Youtube, very late sadly... Start at 4:20.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Az7wR20zVU

If game is at lower resolution that the monitor, when launching the game it will show black and white vertical lines on the screen.

It's suggested to try to get to the graphics option and change it back to it's native resolution. Then you can change it back if desired.
