Sims Travelled from the city to Newcrest --- no plants spawned

all except a strawberry bush in it's infant stage with just a few leaves sprouting.
It's the strawberry bush near the fishing area with 2 fishing signs --- behind Tranquil Crescent.  :o

What happened?  Even the apple/growfruit tree just beyond that fishing spot is not there! ???

This is in my "city family" game.  I haven't opened my Newcrest family game yet --- since the October 27 patch.

Maybe just have your sim wait in the area for a day or so and see if any plants will spawn in?

Thanks so much, @Playalot.  After I posted this, I saw a little tiny bluebell plant on the far side of Twin Oracle Point.  I will check back in Newcrest tonight.
