Festival Tee Shirts

What happens to the festival tee shirts when your Sims buy them?  Mine did not show up in any inventory.  If they buy and wear one it is immediately on their body, but does it stay in their allowable clothing if they change clothes?  I'd hate to lose the ones acquired!

My sims had been buying and wearing their festival T-shirts, too. When their babies aged up, I went to plan outfits and saw the T-shirts in CAS. Have you checked there?

Edited to add:
A female sim in my legacy family bought a festival tee during GeekCon. I sent a male sim from the same family to the festival to buy the male version of the Tee, but only got the option to "Wear Tee shirt."

The T-shirts appear in CAS next time you take your sim to a dresser.
