[Solved] Game Lagging Horribly after 9/21 Graphic Driver Update

That's ok, I just moved the same household and mansion to a new game file and started testing, no lag (so far). I think it's just that one game file. I wonder if having a lot of relationships causes lag?

Yes that it does. I tested that once. Had my Sim know everyone in the town they lived in. Had to save them to library and move them to a new town to "fix" it.

Oh shoot. Then I guess having two of my sims go to the park everyday to play for tips (they got really popular) wasn't a good idea..?

Okay, things seem to be working now. Fingers crossed it stays this way. I'm still not sure what exactly caused the lagging, but I'm going to adhere to the wise old saying that unless something's broken, don't try to fix it. Idk why I did the update, I'm a cautious person by nature, but I guess I'll refrain from updating in the future unless it's a matter of game-breaking or fixing. Also I'll be more careful with making relationships. I never thought the mods or cc had anything to do with the lag, as I don't have a whole lot.

I know I said it before, but I'll say it again. Thank you so much. I loved this game as a child (owned all the exp and original game), so this really means a lot. You are the first person who actually stopped to reply (I've posted similar threads in other forums and so far, no reply), so I think you're really special for taking the time out of your day to help a stranger like me with this game. So thank you!

Hopefully, if anyone else has an issue like mine, they'll see this thread and know there's hope.
