Story Progression not quite progressing... (fixed)
« on: September 24, 2016, 02:34:27 PM »
Hello everyone,

It's been a while since I last posted, but here goes. Normally, I'm scared of enabling story progression as a town can get really messy with lots of divorces and change of careers, etc...it doesn't quite fit my orderly mind. However, at the moment, I have it enabled and playing with 3rd generation offsprings of my family - but something's wrong. There have been no new births, no spouse changing (not so much a problem) and only a couple of career changes. All the premade sims and families are slowly dying out, and the town is plagued by a newly generated, pudding-faced, uninteresting population.

What are your thoughts on this? Can something be done to change things?

I play with ageing and SP enabled (naturally) and Long life expectancy.

Thanks for your time!

You might try resetting the town or using Nraas MasterController to reset everything to see if that might help.

Reset Town, Individual Sims and/or Evict Household

Thank you, MrsFlynn. I have installed a SP mod and oh my...things are catching up at lightning speed now.
