Won't Recognize GTX 1050 Ti - Replaced Both Graphics Files

Hi All,

Long time lurker, first time poster, but my game has driven me to finally posting in desperation. Since my laptop updated drivers last week, Sims 3 won't recognize my graphics card. I've looked up the error, and tried saving and overwriting the files from this post:

into my ProgramFiles(X86)>Electronic Arts>Sims 3>Game>Bin  file, but it still gives the same error.

I noticed that Supernatural also has a GraphicRules SGR file, so tried over-writing that too, but no cigar.

Is there anything else I can try?

You shouldn't need to edit all the expansions graphics files. Just the two that are in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 3 (Download Version) Or C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 (Pre 2012 disc version)

Have you tried making sure you've tweaked the settings in the Nvidia Control Panel?
