Cannot find the tablet.

I have bought the tablet but now, going into a mod-less game, it no longer shows up anywhere. Can somebody figure out why?
and yes, it is not in the store.
and no i have steam edition.
and yes, i have custom content, but the tablet has worked before. i have no idea what is going on.

I think it is "____ 6000" but i remember the 6000 because of the 5999 versions joke in the description. I did buy it on another computer but i've seen it on my new laptop (which can well handle sims 3) but suddenly i cannot find it. Is it because im borrowing a few DLCs from my sister? Is it because i recently bought hidden springs? (Not using it in current game)
I last saw it before i got hidden springs, and i have no idea ehy that would be a connection. I could really use some help.

I do not have it in my current game and don't know what it is called in the launcher. If it is found not in-game or launcher, it needs to be downloaded and installed again.

How-To: Get the MultiTab 6000
1. Log in to the store - http://store.thesims3.com - using your Origin username and password.
2. Copy/paste the link for the tablet, into the browser's address bar.

3. Open the launcher to receive the download.
5. Click the Download button - a popup should appear, click okay, and it should then popup the launcher and start downloading.
6. Click the downloads tab in the launcher, find and select the tablet and install it.

You can not mix your and friends/families DLC. It doesn't work that way. You can only use one account at a time. So if you've purchased the tablet or any other store content with your account. You can only use it on your account only.

It is not recommended to share accounts or try to mix DLC as it will only cause problems with the games in that purchased items will go missing and cannot be used.

In one of the directories that contains a number of CC files, there is one that shouldn't be deleted. The file is called ccmerged.package and is in the dcbackup folder. I understand that deleting this file makes the Multitab 6000 unable to be used. I remember reading this warning in this forum many moons ago.

I know that's not exactly your problem, Mitz, but thought I'd mention it just in case.

Sorting by object type in game, I find it under electronics > computer.

I just realized that this is a TS3 discussion.  I didn't look first, and I thought it was TS4.     I don't know how to find the tablet in TS3.
