I cannot travel with any Sims family

My sims cannot travel;
every time I travel, after I select the location, it goes back to the map with all the different worlds.
After that, I cannot even go back to my sims and play,
unless I restart the entire game.

I also tried other family in TS4, but it encountered the same problem too.

My laptop is Windows 10 with 6GB RAM
Processor: Intel Inside CORE i5

Please help me if anyone know how to solve this issue.

This sounds like a common gameplay bug that has been fixed. However have a look at the link below to see if any of the tips help.

Have you tried starting a brand new game to see if you still have the same issue? if a brand new game works then your current file must have become corrupt. You might need to do a factory reset (How-To Link here) and not replace that particular save file back into your 'reset' The Sims 4 folder. Let us know how you get on and hopefully we can suggest some more things to try.
