Sims 4 date ends prematurely

So today, when I try to have my sims go on a date, after a few seconds the dates end without any action from me. No matter the location. Any guess as to why this is happening?

Are they in a club and if so, is the club meeting still on? That time glitch has happened to me because of that.

This is still a problem, across save games. Does not seem to have anything to do with other club meetings.
