Omniplant?
« on: March 17, 2014, 05:27:45 PM »
I've ordered 20+ Omniplant seeds from the mail, but they are always "Nice" quality...is this intended?
I can never get above Nice quality from the Omniplant seeds from the mail. I need to grow a perfect Omniplant :/

Why do you need to grow a perfect Omniplant?

Ah, so you are a completionist. Well I can understand the sentiment, but Omniplant seeds tend to be pretty random--there's not much you can do about it. Since you don't plant new Omniplants from old ones, there's no way I know of to improve the quality. You could try fertilising them with the best fertiliser when they're planted before they sprout, but I'm not sure if that will fix it.

I'm pretty proud of myself. After years of trying, I've finally achieved this. Of course, it did take many green dragon spells, sunflower mini suns and quick grow gardening stations to get there, but I've done it

An omniplant seed can be cloned, potentially to perfect quality by sims with high science skill, with the science station. (I've successfully done this many times)
If you don't mind mods, DebugEnabler can change any seed's, plant's or ingredient's quality.
