terrible fashion sense in sunset valley.

Do all sims dress horrendously? Or is my save file maybe glitched? Terrible outfits. Just. So. Awful. And i havent the patience to fix everyone... I also don't remeber this being a big issue before, but maybe I just wasn't paying that much attention. Just curious if everyone experiences this also.

It's normal. The game chooses completely random outfits and hairstyles when Sims age up, and it also adds completely random outerwear if you've got Seasons. You can use NRaas Dresser to edit townies' outfits much more quickly, but it's all you can do, with editing townies in CAS one after another. Or if you've really got enough of that to the point where you're Ok with losing relationships, you can move to another town and move back to Sunset Valley. This will reset Sunset Valley.

Thank you for the speedy reply. I had a feeling it's just the way it is, but I was hoping that there was a trick to it I was missing, or maybe just wanting to know I'm not alone, lol. The outerwear is certainly the most dreadful! I think maybe if there were more options in that category it might not be so awful, but it's a tad limited. Anywho, I will take the mod suggestion into consideration as I already have a couple and really appreciate the way they improve gameplay. Thanks again!:)
