Weird thing happened last night. I do not have the option selected to fill empty houses. I created several families to keep in the bin so that they would be used as townies. I had put them into an empty lot and then evicted them, so that they showed up as played but not in world. I had placed about 4 families in a new town I had created in Willow Creek and was playing a day or 2 as I slowly added each family. Suddenly, I got a moving message that all my "played but not in world" sim families had been moved into houses. Some had been moved into other towns, not Willow Creek where I was playing. I went ahead and just evicted them all to go back in the bin. Has this happened to anyone else? Or am I not understanding how this works?
