Processing Screen?!?
« on: June 17, 2016, 12:50:44 PM »
So I'm having trouble with my processing screen and family inventory. So yesterday night I was playing sims 3, and i moved my family to a new place, moved around furniture. So I decided to get rid of the furniture from the previous home. I Clicked on sell all, and it's been processing since last night to now. I didn't save and I don't want to delete the save if I don't need to. Is there any way I can bypass the processing screen without restarting my game?

When my game has done that in the past I have had to open up Task Manager, (Ctrl-Alt-Delete [or Shift-Ctrl-Esc] keys pressed all together to open.) Look under the processes tab and look for Sims 3. Right-click and select End Task.

This will quit out of game. So you'll have to start from where you last saved. But it will at least get you out of the never-ending processing screen. Essentially what happened is the game has crashed while trying to load or save the game.

This sometimes happens specially when you've been working with a game-save for a long period of time or have a house or household with a lot of furniture and decor.

If you have a large house or household with a lot of stuff, it's best to get rid of the items little by little. Not to overwhelm the computer/game. Otherwise it will crash.

Try these troubleshooting tips in the posts below to see if they help with the problem.
