Can't find plant Fireleaf

You can find the fireleaf or any kind of plantable objects by using buydebug cheats. As for the fireleaf, I too experience something similar to this but lucky that one of the random fireleaf is the real one rather than the poisonous one. I say it is not a bug but rather odd design choice for spawner to make one plant could be the normal variant or the toxic one causing in a rare occasion, all the plants in the hood is of only one variety.

Does anyone know how long it takes for wild plants to re-spawn? And do you need to be in the same map the whole time or can you come back after a few days? My sim removed a bunch of poison fireleaf and none have respawned so far, and I really don't want her to miss more work....

Also, I tried taking a cutting from the fireleaf plant behind the bathroom, but it doesn't work. Nothing shows up in my sim's inventory :/

You do need to stay in the area and it took two days for my plants to respawn although I think someone else reported it was far quicker. You could always go back home for your sims work and come back the following weekend/ days off and then stay in the area.

Thanks! I didn't stay for two consecutive days, so it ended up taking three separate one-day trips for the fireleaf to spawn. But I think in total I did spend around 48 hours in the park.
