New Food?

With Late Night comes new food, but there are no new recipes in the bookshop. How am I supposed to learn to cook them?

If they're not for sale at the bookstore, my first guess is that they're only available at the bars/lounges.

Oh yeah, the hot wings and the nachos. I also went to the bookstore to look for them and got the same result. I wonder if they have it added as one of the automatic recipes you already know after a certain level cooking skill.

Well maybe it is like in RL, if I go out and have chicken wings or nacho's, I don't want to fix them at home.  So like Pam said, maybe it is just a bar type food.  Who knows what else they will throw in. :)

I tried making it at home and I could not. I think I was momentarily confusing this with TS2, where at a certain cooking level you could make appetizers, so yeah like Pam said only at the bars you can have the wings and nachos.

I like having hot wings and nachos at home. :P I don't get out much though. Maybe they will make a patch so sims can make it at home- it would be nice to be able to make them for parties and such.

I think the new food cannot be cooked at home :(. There's burritos, nachos, hot wings, tacos, vampire chowder and some dish made out of shrimp.

Shrimp cocktail, I think.

Edit:  I also just saw onion rings at Plasma 101.

really?

Here is something I am going to try out, if you have a mixologist, and they order a drink a few times they can learn to make it.

I wonder if that could work for a cook and the bar food.  Order it a few times and maybe learn it.  Only problem I can see is not being able to do it in one visit to the bar due to stuffing the sim.

ohh well, it was worth a shot, I had my mastered chef practically living at Waylon's Haunt, only returning home to sleep for 7 days.  He ate only onion rings and watched cookin cable all day and didn't learn anything new.

Though, now that I think about it, he has been at 100% of learned recipes for awhile.  The only other thing I could think is that mixology might have a part in it, being a bar food thing.  I kind of doubt it though, because his mixology is maxed as well.

In the new patch there was a food cart mentioned and I'm currently trying to find it.
