Sim's Age Keeps Changing?
« on: April 21, 2016, 02:17:27 AM »
Hi. This is just a minor little problem but I hope there's a solution to it.

First of all, I have my aging setting off. So my family's 3 kids aged up to young adults while their parents are still young adults. So one day I open my game and I realize that the kids have aged and somehow the parents got younger. What I mean is, that the number of days to aging has drastically changed. So it's like, if kid A had 21 days to becoming an adult, the next time I open the game, they're at 16 days to becoming an adult and it's the reverse for the parents. It's getting really annoying because I always have to fix it. Does anyone know a permanent fix to this?

I also have another problem with a sim's weight always changing, but that's another problem for another day I guess.

Thank you! :)

Did you mean that the settings themselves are changing? Or that time is passing while you are away? Either way I would guess that it's a bug. Is it just one household, or all of them?

No, I mean that every time I go to open my game the sim's 'Days to Aging Up' keep changing. The usual situation is that the kids are always getting older, while the parents are getting younger without me doing anything. I don't check on other households in that particular game, but in my other saved games it doesn't seem to be happening at all.

I'm not sure what you've tried to do to remedy the problem, but a few suggestions are:

Reset Town, Individual Sims and/or Evict Household

Create a New Game - in case it maybe the game that is messed up somehow.

I usually am just making the kids eat life fruit or use the sauna to make them younger than their parents.  I'll try some of these, thanks!
