New to game. A few (probably dumb) questions. Please help!
« on: November 24, 2010, 11:37:15 PM »
This is my 1st sims game. It's sims3 ambition for iPhone. Am I playing with real people or a computer? How do I get married? And if my fiancé gets the game, will he be able to interact with me.

Welcome to our Forum, Michelle.

No question is a dumb question!  I don't have Sims 3 on mobile, but I can tell you that you're playing with an artificial intelligence computer, not people.  You will not be able to interact with anyone else who has the game.  Each game you play is self-contained and doesn't connect to anything or anyone.

As for your question about how to get married, Carl just published a guide written by one of our members, Leto85.  It may give you some helpful information.  Click here to view.  He also started a thread here where you can ask more questions.

Topic closed? No, not yet I see.
Good, that gives me some time to quickly answer your last question: your fiancé will unfortuniatly not be able to interact with you while playing his own game on his mobile. Just like the basegame, The Sims 3 is not, and probably will not be a multiplayer game. On the computer you can upload houses, selfmade sims and movies to the sims3 site but the sims hasn't be a online game since Maxis (owner off the sims before Electronic Arts) has launced The Sims Online, somewhere around the year 2000.
But because of not much people played the game online Maxis has desided to turn down the whole project. Since than, no online version of The Sims has been ever made and probably will not ever.
So, unfortuniatly, you can't interact with your fiancé on The Sims 3 Mobile..
