Bills are more frequent and higher every time they come in the mail

Hey everyone,

Since a few days my sims bills get higher (like doubled) every time i play. 2 days ago they were 75.000...yesterday it was 250.000...and today almost 500.000! I keep using the motherlode cheat but I'd rather play the game without cheats, does anyone else have this problem?

Whoa... that doesn't seem right.  Do you use Mods or CC?  If you don't, have you tried clearing caches?  And you shouldn't be getting bills every day.  Bills come every Monday in TS4, so that sounds like something is off.

Hi Liel, I had this happen for a week in one of my games although the bills weren't very high. Try quitting out of your game, clearing the cache files and that should sort it. You could also repair your game if internet isn't a consideration.

Just out of interest, does your sim live in Windenburg?

I heard someone got 300,000,000 simoleons of bill in one go. Actually it was from using ATM card mod. Some simmers don't like to do money cheat but want to do a nice start with a decent house. So they want to get a big loan from ATM for buying a nice house. A week later, they get tons of bill and go broke.

Or in my case, the bill gets increased while collecting lots of gardening fruits and flowers, space rocks, my sims trophies, etc but it was not that much though. It was around 30,000 to 40,000.

I have this bug happening in a new game again! I'm getting bills every few days instead of once a week. The bills aren't unduly inflated, just annoying in the increased frequency. Clearing the cache files sorts it.
