Hi, forum. I hope someone can help me with this issue, or provide some kind of support.

I have two Mods installed to be clear, NRAAS Story Progression and Overwatch.

I did make a copy before leaving home and leaving China (two copies), so I am not too worried about losing the file. I just want to fix the issue.

I took one sim, a female young adult, to China. Upon arrival, I turned story progression off when it asked me if I wanted it on. Overwatch still did its thing while I was there. I vacationed and did my thing during the six days, but I don't think that is relevant to my issue.

So once I returned home, after being automatically sent not calling to return home manually, all of my five members of the household including the traveling sim's portraits were gone. The UI was clear, the mood bar was blue, moodlets had disappeared, wishes were still locked in surprisingly, and the funds were at 0. I couldn't do anything. All my sims were stuck. So I exited to the main menu after saving a SEPARATE save and reopened. Nothing had changed. I then went to edit town and tried to evict them, but it got stuck.

Has anyone experienced this? Anyone know how to solve it?

My Theories, though they may not be the solution:
• I read some where about installing mods in a different place with World Adventures installed.
• Installed Twallan's Traveler Mod.

Other Notes and Facts About the Situation:
• Game is patched.
• I told the mods I have.
• Store content is installed and a few custom items here and there.

Thanks so much!

User Interface (UI) is Missing

If the tips above don't work for you, you can try going back to a previous save. It's recommended to use Save As before traveling anywhere. Just in case this bug pops up. You have a save to go back to.

To anyone who reads this topic, clearing family inventory and evicting family, placing them back, switching to another household, then back to yours solved the issue for me. Always make backups!!
