Whats your favourite thing about sims?

Here we can all share our favourite things about Sims, telling other people why so we can see the point of some thing we don't like, or just discussing the things we do like!
Here's a few ideas of things that I like about Sims:

Creating a Sim: I love being able to choose your character's clothes, name, personality and other smaller details.

Building a house: I love designing my Sim's house. It's a lot easier with cheating, being able to make a massive mansion immediately, but I also love the slower way as it's much more rewarding.

Getting a Job: I love getting my Sims jobs and getting promoted, it makes me feel happy letting some animated people better in their carrers, Hee hee!

Parenting: I love having little kids on sims! They're so cute and funny!

If I've already mentioned what you like still tell me! Tell me why, too, so other people can discover things they might not know about Sims (even though Carl's Guide says pretty much everything )

I love the toddlers!!  Especially the little girls.  I dress them up in cute clothes and make sure they have a cute hairstyle.  I love everything they do, even the screaming in the bed when they need out.  I recently discovered the adorable interaction when an adult talks to a toddler through the teddy bear.  And their little legs wobble just a little when they're learning to walk.  Squeeeeeee!!

I love Toddlers too! There so much work when theres more than one of them though, ive never tried the teddy bear action... i will soon! I love the little girls too! In my legacy i have 3 boys and she is pregnant again! The baby (or babies) have already been born but i wont spoil the suprise!

For me Sims is typically (not all the time) pushing the envelope in some way via challenges: how much money can this character make in x number of days, how quickly can this Sim master all skills, how many babies can these two Sims pump out before the mother becomes an elder (and dies of exhaustion), and on and on. I play Diablo the same way — never leisurely. All my Diablo and Sims characters are challenge/tournament characters, or in the case of this site, a character I created for a walkthrough.

But, that's my favorite thing about Sims...keeping on myself to improve in some way. Learning little tricks here and there to shave time off, learns things faster, etc.

Ahh, so filling their lives with journeys and wishes? Thats cool! I love to stuff my sims lives full of every journey they can take. My Legacy challenge is more calm and peacfull but its also the first time ive had sim kids so Pam helpfully provided information on looking after infants to teenagers. She helped me with my journey and my legacy is going strong up to its 3rd generation! only 7 more! Ha ha!
Now im going to fill my sims lives full with kids. Because i just love seeing them growing up and being cute!
