Ghost Sim won't return to grave!

Hey everyone,

So, I created a female, single sim who is a Kleptomaniac.  I had her steal the remains of Joel Astroman from Pleasant Rest Graveyard in Sunset Valley.  I put his urn in a locked room (locked to everyone but my female sim).  After lots of mourning, Joel appeared.  So, since I am hoping to resurrect Joel, my CAS, Melody, started to chat him up.  But, it is currently around 4 in the afternoon (in-game time) and Joel still hasn't returned to his urn.  He just walks around, eats, sleeps, etc.  I even tried to unlock the door to e room holding Joel's urn, but the ghost continues to wander around my house.  Any help or suggestions?  I really appreciate it!

Have you tried resetsim to reset him?
Open the cheat console with Shift-CTRL-C and put in resetsim Joel Astroman
I've had to do this a few times with ghost on my lot that wouldn't vanish in the morning.

I was going to do that, but will that make him Return to the Netherworld or something?  I still want to resurrect him and such.  Will he still come out of his grave once in a while?  Thank you so much for your help and quick reply.

Yes, he will still come out of his grave. I've had to do it a few times and they have always showed back again.
