Fish ecosystem

I do believe this topic belongs in the Skills Discussions, as long as there isn't a seperate Animal Discussion for this game.

What I am curious about is who of you genius members know which fish I can put together in one fish tank and which I better not. I know some eat other fishes and some fishes may have the same enemy, or prey.

Who can help me out making a complete list of this? I like to complete my special fish room with all fishes ingame, but don't like them to eat each other.
Let's hope the butler will feed the fish. :P

Leto, I do remember seeing a discussion of this but can't remember what thread it was.  As I recall, the consensus was that as long as you avoid putting fish in with other fish that see them as bait, you should be ok.  In other words, don't put Alleycat fish in with Angel fish, Angel fish with Death fish, etc.  I haven't personally tried this as I don't have the large fish tank.

Yes, the bait fish will be eaten.
If you want a list of this you can check the Guide's fishing article.

The list that Swede linked to should work for you, Leto.  It shows the bait for all the different kinds of fish.  Oh, except I just noticed that the list on the Guide doesn't include new fish from World Adventures or Late Night.

Here's World Adventures fish and bait:

Mummy Fish (pomegranate)
Crocodile (siamese catfish)
Crawfish (frogs)
Frogs (cherminola blan grapes)
Snails (renoit grapes)
Dragon Fish (tancho koi)
Doitsu Koi (pomelo)
Kawarimono Koi (plum)
Ochiba Koi (pomelo)
Tancho Koi (plum)

And here's Late Night fish and bait:

Kissing Gourami (goldfish)
Sewer Trilobite (minnow)
Sea Sludge (hot dogs/links)

Has anyone found the new Late Night fish in Sunset Valley or Riverview?  I've got level 10 fishermen and haven't caught any of the new ones.  Are they only in Bridgeport?

Well, not really what you can call it 'caught', but in Riverview, my farm family has actually bought 10 kissing fishes because they were nowhere to find in the wild, and then released them in his own pond. I do believe you have to release the newer fishes yourself.
