No need to apologize... I know how frustrating this game can be.  :) It is a very different game than previous iterations for sure. The emotions take a bit of getting used to and to be honest a lot of the websites out there (naming no names) post incorrect information. There can be times that no matter what you do you just can not get townies to do what you want them to do, but once you get a townie into the correct emotion then often times it can suddenly become too easy and you are left wondering what to do next as the challenge has gone!

There have been quite a few posts on other websites talking about all romantic interactions being rejected but I fired up a brand new game with newly made sims to check this out. The romantic interactions are working as they have been designed to but I am noticing more sad sims in a new game earlier than usual. Usually it takes at least until the afternoon of the first day if not day 2 and so on, to see sad mopey sims. I either ignore them and just focus on my own sim or quickly cheer 'em up and then ignore them!

Keep posting... we'll all try to offer suggestions, some may work... some may not!  :)
