I don't think it can CynKuy. I messed around in game with it for a while but couldn't even think how that might be possible. I certainly haven't noticed an option to do that while playing.  :)

Not that I know of either and I don't even know of a mod that allows you to. But it would be nice if you could or if it at least had its own unique cover that didn't look like other books that came with a book case.

Thank you, that's my problem too.  I want to change the way the book looks because I have six people in the household and I have to select each book to see if it's the right one.   :-\

You can rename the book so that when you mouse over it the sims name will appear, least that way you don't actually have to have a sim pick it up. The author sim has to do the renaming.
