In my current game, my founder sim has the Active trait and the Bodybuilder Aspiration. Having fulfilled her aspiration, she also has the Long Lived bonus trait. She has been an elder for 35 days and counting! She had her first warning about 3 weeks ago. All my other elders have went within 2-3 days of the "bubbling bar" appearing. and the last warning. Never again for the Bodybuilder aspiration, unless I absolutely have too!

I'm glad I found this thread. I thought my game is glitched in a new way (in addition to its existing glitches).
My dynasty heir's twin brother has lived 8 days past his second notice, so I thought my game might be broken. After reading this thread, I checked and he does have the Active trait, darn it.

@Playalot  So I can expect this sim to have an elder lifespan of no longer than 20 days? At present, he's 87days old (based on his immortal twin's age bar).
Since it's a dynasty file, he can't 'accidentally die," either.  :-(

I think @oshizu that the 20 day (or 10 days if no active trait and little fitness skill) countdown starts from the first warning from Grim.  It's been a while since I played an elder now, last one was my 6th dynasty gen spouse and he didn't have the active trait.

@Playalot  I guess that means he'll be around for another 10 days or so then. That's bad news.
My teen has his eye on three Adult ladies. If they age up to elder before he becomes a YA..... *clenches teeth and rips hair.

Thanks for letting me know. I'd been waiting for him to die as the ending to my present chapter, lol.
