Power Supply
« on: January 04, 2016, 08:44:20 PM »
How do you know what the power supply is on a computer?

I don't remember seeing anything that stated what my new computer has.  Probably because I don't recognize what is being stated on what's in it.

I have the specs on another thread; probably where I was gripping about  the one I bought which was damaged and picking out another one.

Sometimes it says on the specification tab of the computer you're looking at. But then again sometimes it doesn't say at all and you have to go search by the model number of the computer to maybe find out that information.

It may be written on the power supply of the computer. But that means you need to open it up. Otherwise if you find out the brand and the model you can find the information online.
