Sims 3 MultiTab 6000 leveling up too fast

Hey guys and gals, I've come here to see if anyone can possibly help me with a MultiTab issue that is plaguing my current sim's life. I purchased the MultiTab for my sims to help gain skills for the 100 Baby Challenge that I'm working on. The MultiTab was working perfectly in game last night, but when I jumped on to play this afternoon it was acting up. Basically I'll have my sim listen to the MultiTab and instead of it taking a while to reach the next level it is leveling up my sim immediately. She had a level five cooking skill and when she put the tab cast on it instantly leveled her to six even though she had just finished with level five. I was hoping someone would know what I need to do to correct this as it is very cheaty and I'd like to continue using the MultiTab for my sim's kids later on without it being gliched. :/ I didn't want to try and remove it from my game in case that messed something up. I thought I'd try asking here first.

From what I've been able to search on this problem a factory reset is what helps the best.

However, if you don't want to try that first, some other things that may help are:

1. Uninstall/Reinstall just the MultiTab or all store content

2. Try Resetting the Town, Individual Sims and/or Evict Household
