Game thinks everywhere is outside? *Fixed!!*
« on: December 20, 2015, 09:08:22 PM »
On multiple occasions, I've had a Witch Sim initiate the "Wait Outside" interaction without my consent, despite said Sim being in their own home and indoors. Even the plants think the same thing, turning dormant indoors (with a roof, no less) and in basements regardless of who plants them; outside temperature being -5 C at the time.

What may be the cause of this????

Hi Junan,

I am not too familiar with indoor gardening. I actually just started trying in-door gardening in my game and the plants seem to be doing okay. I have winter turned off and fall set to only a few days.

Anyway, what I have found is you may want to make sure the full ceiling over your garden area. After about a sim-day they should revive themselves.

Something else that was suggested is a mod from Nrass called Debugenabler It may help get stuck plants to next growth state.

The other thing that may help is to reset everything via Nraas MasterController
From City Hall > Nraas > M.C. > Town > Reset Everything.

I don't know if this will help, but it's a few things to look over and try. :)

This line plus the modthesims link tell me they'll grow out of dormant state at 5AM the next day...kind of a weird thing to do.

I played a little bit of the game last night. At the moment, It's spring. It did get cold and frost, but it didn't seem to affect the in-door garden plants.

Hopefully your game fixed itself?

Looks like it was correct; the plants JUST exited from dormant state at approx. 5:15am in game time and planting 5 more an hour later are now dormant. Now I know to plant only around midnight for maximum planting efficiency.

Edit: It appears they exit from dormant state 12 hours after planting.
