Club vibes

How long do vibes last? I bought the inspired club vibe, but it only lasted for one gathering. Is it supposed to be the vibe for every gathering, or is it a one and done deal?

I thought it lasts forever... as long as your sim is having a club meeting then that should be the vibe 'used' until you buy another. Are you sure it isn't still selected in the club details window?

It's still selected in the clubs window, yeah. But the vibe of the club meeting is community or whatever the happy vibe is called

Hmm.. that is strange. Let me have a look around and I'll get back to you. Have you repaired your game since installing Get Together? Sometimes clearing the cache file helps too, as does restarting your PC.

*edited. I can't find anything about this elsewhere. I have had no problems with club vibes in my game, but that doesn't mean anything other than I can't reproduce it so I'm not sure what's causing it. Try clearing cache files etc etc and hopefully that should solve the issue for you.

Can you click on a club member and set the vibe manually?

Repairing game didn't work, nor did clearing caches. I've been trying to set it manually (I think). Can you tell me how to do that, just in case I'm doing it wrong?

Yes, that's how you do it. You can select any of the ones you've bought for the club so far when you do that.

Your sims, once in the clubs meeting/gathering, need to do one of the clubs interactions to 'get' the chosen vibe as well.

Club vibe is always available, but you might have to activate it when you start a gathering, particularly if your active Sim is not the leader. It's a bit clunky to do, but click on the leader and find the club section in his social context menu, then just cycle to set club vibe and pick the one you want. You can unlock multiple vibes if you want to, for situational utility. The default happy buff is also generally useful and can be upgraded to higher levels. Rally the troops works the same way. Definitely hit Rally the troops every-so-often, as it will help refill your need bars. I'm not sure if there is a cool down on it, but I've used it multiple times on the same gathering. Extremely useful unlock.
