More blueprints?
« on: March 10, 2015, 04:40:53 PM »
Hello everybody! I was wondering if there's any way to get more blueprints in Buy/Build Mode. I'm not a very creative/abstract thinker, so I've really appreciated the blueprints for when I'm building and/or renovating houses, but I'd love some more. For example: in the kids' blueprint section, I'd love to have a single kid's bedroom in addition to the 2 bed bedrooms that are offered. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I have to assume there’s some way to obtain more or create new ones in-game, but I’m actually not sure because I haven’t dabbled with that too much. Even if a search for those come up dry, there’s a plethora of downloadable lots to be found, at least a few of those are bound to appeal to your desires.

From what I know you can't get more/save more blueprints and stuff without mods, but I don't know which mods you would need to do so since I don't really use them.

You can make blueprints using this tool. There are ways to install blueprints (they are packaged as .package files and you install them like a mod), but I don't know where you can download them from.

I want to know more about blue prints. Are they merely just time savers? I redecorate a lot of houses in the sims 3, but I place ever piece of furniture and and create the layout myself. Am I wasting time?

Also, when you place a blueprint, the furniture is already pre-chosen to match, correct or no? If so, with the tool Seabody, can I choose the furniture for the blue prints with the tool? Sorry, if my questions don't make sense, I'm just trying to get an idea how blueprints work. Thanks in advance!
