We wouldn't recommend this computer due the processor. It's not really made for gaming. The U processors are more for light office tasks and web surfing.

Out of curiosity does it overly matter if the graphics card is in the AMD R5 or 6 series rather than the R7?

You're welcome!!  From what we've been able to find is R5 is rated as a low graphics card. R6 is medium rated. R7 is rated a medium/high and R9 is rated high/highest.

We would recommend something in the range of R7 or R9 so you have a better overall gaming experience. Less headache with lag, crashing and other problems.
