X "is feeling younger and more revitalized" meaning?

I just got a popup, "Carl is feeling younger and more revitalized". This is in my ID, and it appears his life stage has been reset. Carl has eaten ambrosia before, but the moodlet is about to wear off. He doesn't have Life Fruit or the like in his inventory. What's causing this, so that his descendants can avoid it like the plague?

I thought that was the pop-up for ambrosia. Anyway he could have got his hands on some? Does he have any unusual moodlets?

Nothing unusual. All the ambrosia etc is stored in a food replicator and chests in the basement. He did eat Perfect Eggs Machiavellian, but that's the only real interaction I recall - I had been in build/buy.

If that's what did it, the good news is that Immortals are allowed to use the mud bath, so you're fine as far as ID Hall of Fame goes* I'd keep the sauna locked off to ensure pre-ambrosia heirs, spares, and townies don't autonomously use it.

I bought the Sauna and placed it ingame, but he definitely hasn't used it yet. It's been locked off from the beginning, as it's in Gen 3's zone in the house.

The only thing else that I can think of that gives that sort of pop up is Fountain of Youth or Young Again. I've never seen a sim drink an elixir autonomously. I have seen a sim get to a potion somehow when it was in a doorless museum. A big production (birthday scene) happens with those, however,
