Game crashes when a sim leaves the family *Fixed!!*

So, I've been playing through my ID, but I've run into a rather problematic bug- I've had the game freeze twice now late at night. The first time, Grim had just come for the family dog, while the second time, I was getting rid of the pets so I could set up a set in another save with certain items I couldn't find in buydebug.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this since sims dying is kind of an inevitability in immortal dynasties?

I looked over the tips to refresh my memory on crashing tips. And the best one that might help your situation is to try reset the town/sim or evict them and move them back into their house.

I can't say for sure if this will work. In my current game things started to lag fairly bad and I ended up having to package the family and move them into a new game to get it to run more smoothly.

After a bit of testing, It looks like it's just an intense lag spike, not a crash, so with my caches cleared it seems to work if I wait long enough.
