Actions are broken for my dog? Help??!
« on: September 27, 2015, 10:52:21 PM »
So, I really have no clue whats going on here. I've been playing TS3 + Pets and nothing like this has ever happened to me before.

I have a family with a married couple and a toddler. Also have a horse and dog. Recently, I noticed that actions for my dog seem to be broken?? I have no idea if this could be because I'm playing on a world I downloaded from The Exchange.

Anyways, everytime I try and get my dog to eat or interact with someone or sleep or do ANYTHING except "run around", she gets the thought bubble with the crossed out feet and the action disappears. I have tried resetting her, re-starting my game MULTIPLE times, and moving her through the moveobjects on/off cheat.

Literally nothing has happened. I end up having to use testingcheatsenabled to keep her alive, because otherwise she'll starve/die of social deprivement.

I have also noticed that when I double-click on her portrait, it takes me to the ground level, no matter what floor of my house she's on. For example, say shes on the second floor of my house. She will appear to be floating at that level until I move up floors and can see her on something solid.

This is very, very frustrating as I am a perfectionist and hate it when the health of my sims isnt perfect.

Please help! I really dont want to have to save this family and re-create it :(

Hi Rita,

Have you tried resetting the household or dog itself?

Reset Town, Individual Sims and/or Evict Household (Howto)

Hope this helps, :)
