Subways

Thought I would add this, as I asked the question myself a few days ago.... How to build a subway!!! First you need a 10x10 plot of land, change the lot type to community visitors allowed, next give yor subway a name, ( example: graveyard) the reason for this is because when you have placed several subways you can choose the destination, without a name it will be a choice of station to station, which can get confusing. Next go into build mode check community items and under misc. Stuff you will see the subway, place on your plot, then go build another thanks to the people who responded and I hope this helps anyone who was still confused

Thanks Macleod, I just saw that adding Subways are allowed in Dyansties as well now so that may be a good idea to cut down travel time.

You can also easily add a subway to a property you already own.  For example, I own Pinocle Pond, so I just went into Buy Mode for that property and plopped down a subway station.  It took the name of the property.  For the Immortal Dynasty, it's required that you own a property in order to put a subway station on it.

Now to save up a money for those properties then! Get those Subways in!

They haven't really been very useful for me.  Even when the family uses the subway to go to a distant park for the day, it takes a couple of Sim hours to get there.  I'll test it again, but it didn't seem to save any time at all.

Edit:  I just tested it again and it took only about 30 Sim minutes to get to the destination.
