I have been playing the sims 3 for a little while now and thought i would try one of these story progression mods as not a lot seemed to be happening in my town. I tried nraas story progression firstly but turned the game into a lagfest so got rid of it and heard of awesome mod, which i thought was a kind of less intense nraas story progression feature where sims in the town age with you etc.
Since installing this i have not notices any difference in the towns progression whatsoever (if anything, less is happening as with the default i would occasionally get a message about a sim passing away or something). Is there a setting i need to turn or or does the stuff supposedly happen in the background ?
