Removed empty house, added my own, but still shows old house in map view?

I managed to find a 40x40 lot with an empty house on it; I removed that house and placed my own. However, when I am in map view, the game shows that the old house is still there.

It has no effect on game play, because as soon as I zoom back in my house re-renders. Its just annoying. Is it a bug that everyone has, or just something I am experiencing that might be fixed in a new patch sometime soon?

Have you tried to save and shutdown your game, then restart?

Ironically, no. After I found that out I saved and shutdown the game and posted.. But I suppose as I am intending to play, I shall restart the game.

Seem to if fixed it
I just built a wall, went to map view, and demolished the wall, and the house displayed properly.

But I still seem to have something wrong with the particles that appear in build mode, like the sparkles? They never seem to disappear unless I exit build/buy and re-enter, then they display their proper animations and vanish

It seems to come and go.  I have the same issue both in Sunset Valley and in China so far.  Sometimes it will show the house other times it will show the old house.
