Backboard on counters not showing on left angle walls

In a kitchen I'm starting the counters are not showing the backboard on one wall for some reason.
Here's what I mean.


The counters on the left angled wall don't make the backboard when placed which messes up the look of it.
I've tried starting a new game and and repairing the game and it does the same thing. The right wall works fine but the left wall refuses to make the backboard.
This is the first time I've tried placing counters on angled walls like this so I don't know if it's always been a problem or not

I tried removing all my mods and doing a factory reset and that didn't help either.
So I decided to just work around it by using the move objects cheat and move all the counters into the wall far enough to hide the backboards on all the counter tops. I think it looks alright like that and they're still usable. It's still a strange bug tho.

No idea why that happened. But I do like the look you achieved. I actually don't like the backboards, so maybe I will try this
with my next build.

Did you have to use any other cheat than moveobjects?

@saltpastillen I just used the move objects cheat and hold down the ALT key to free move the object so it doesn't snap to the grid then just move it a little into the wall until the backboard is hidden. The walls are thick enough that it doesn't show through to the other side of the wall.

It is weird and definitely a glich in not just your game. I tried it and have the same results that it fails on one diagonal, but not the other.

@Twinmum Thanks for trying it and confirming that's it's not just my game. In a way it helps knowing it's not just on my end.

Edit: I checked at Answer HQ and someone has reported the problem. Don't know if it will help but if your having the same problem go here and click the me too button so they will know other are having the problem also.
