Hiding Headline Effects?
« on: May 25, 2015, 06:58:30 PM »
First off, I hope this is in the right place. Sorry if it isn't. But anyways, I'm trying to use the cheat that hides plumbobs and stuff. It's not working, my testing cheats are on. I use the MAC version. Any ideas?

Hi Geniequeen,

It looks like the cheat for that is, hideheadlineeffects on/off

Sims 4 Cheats
http://www.carls-sims-4-guide.com/cheats.php

I'm not entirely sure if it's the same for Mac. But I think (?) the cheats are for both pc and mac versions.

Hope this helps, :)

That's the thing, I've tried the cheat. It doesn't work. Thank you for trying, but it's unfortunately not the answer.

According to SimsVIP here
The issue of not hiding plumbob should be fixed on 1st October patch that fixes many - many things. If after updating to newest version, the cheats hasn't worked out yet then use the instruction to remove the plumbobs. Note that is indeed for PC version so you need to find the relevant files on mac on yourselves. If you still can't hide the headline effects though, than probably the issues is only in MAC version of the games.
