How to calculate the quality of your meals:
- required skill level (5 food points per level)
- how often you prepared this meal (1.5 * times prepared)
- the quality of each ingredient (Horrifying = -50, Putrid -25, Foul -15, Bad -5, Neutral 0, Nice 5, Very Nice 10, Great 15, Excellent 20, Outstanding 25, Perfect 30)
- your appliances (grill/stove) - this value can be found in GameplayData.package as "ApplianceBonusFoodPoints"
- 15 points if your sim is a perfectionist
- 15 points each for natural cook (20% chance if skill level 4-10)/born to cook (except for PB&J, sushi, veggi rolls and cheese plate)
Add these values together and multiply it by
- 0.5 for microwaves
- 3 if you have a -1K fridge
- 1.25 for Improved Cooking upgrade
- 0.75 for group servings
Finally, compare your value with these intervals:
- Neutral: (neg)10-14.9
- Nice: 15-29.9
- Very Nice: 30-44.9
- Great: 45-59.9
- Excellent: 60-74.9
- Outstanding: 75-99.9
- Perfect: 100+
and jump to the next quality level if your sim is a Menu Maven or a Plumbot with efficient chip (twice if both applies).
