Sims stuck in never ending wedding vows

My Sims keep repeating the same marriage sequence over and over and over.  It never registers as married although I got a notification saying what a beautiful wedding.  I do not use ANY mods or cc.  I have run repair game before I started.  Can I save this wedding some how?  It's my dynasty!  yikes

Have you tried manually telling them to say their vows?

@Nettlejuice:  Reset Sim doesn't work.

I probably have failed the dynasty as a HOF dynasty.  My only solution was to quit the game and go back to an earlier save.  I'll just have to see if the team will accept this.  Even if it fails for HOF, I'm having a lot of fun with this one so I'll keep on playing it following the rules whether it's HOF or not.  Thanks for the answer you two.

I've seen a few reports posted regarding marriage (bugs), but nothing did come up in search for stuck in never ending wedding vows. If it happens again, you may want to report it as a bug?

Not sure how or where to do that but it hasn't happened again.  I'm having a few issues with things stuck to Sims hands and unable to place inventory items  but they are usually resolved with travel.  Also having Sims just move, or pop up in different places so not sure what's going on.  File's getting bigger so imagine that's part of it.

The other issues seem familiar to me as well, but will need to do a little digging on those to see if I can find a fix or work around.

Edited to Add:

Here's what I was able to find, traveling should fix the stuck to hand issue. And clearing cache files should help with the Sims popping up from something. Links and tips are below in case they're needed.

Things stuck to Sims hands:
--
1.) Travel to a different lot, and then back again should fix this issue.

2.) Click a dresser and select 'plan outfit'.

My Sim has a frying pan permanently stuck to her hand!
