Sentence Grammar (the son of the Andrews and father of Gen 3), Paragraph Andrews (the former IF of Noun Grammar and mother of Gen 3 husband) and Clause Andrews (the former IF of Sentence Andrews and father of Gen 3 husband) all decided to jam one day and started to sing a song of their own composition. In non Mortal Oldies performance news, Adjective finally managed to supermax photography, travelling into the future to find some strangers to photograph. While there, the watcher was able to screen capture the evidence.


Current state of play regarding Gen 4 arriving -
3 mortal elders are at 79 days each
Adjective is at 8 days from Adult
Adjective is nicely achieving what she needs to achieve. Main issue is her being young enough to give birth when one of the mortal elders goes with Grim.
Oh and all three of them have got wishes to see grandchildren. Too bad one of them won't be able to achieve that wish.

Well, we're still waiting for one of the three elder mortals to join the choir invisible. So, the rest of the family are just keeping themselves busy. Gen 3 and her man are having plenty of practice with the woohooing so that when they get the chance they can bring in Generation 4.

I know that you are a bit scared about failing the Dynasty because the elder mortals didn't die before Adj grows old but let me assure you, by the time the elder life bar maxes out, there is always a good chance one of them will die of old age. I was doing a 4x4 Attempt, and Connor Frio, my founder's husband, was reaped right on the 54th day of life at midnight, ironically just as his grandchild was being born. 

Waiting for the elders to reach 90 days of age is a bit frustrating but you need to be patient and be hopeful.

I like your dynasty, even if it's storyless. I'm with you in that I like to get things done and be done with them.

I've been playing a nonofficial Decadynasty in Starlight Shores and Sonoko Lee just died at 137. Mitch died at 99 so all was well. Some times they just live on and on and on...

Free Range Elders and Immortals

One day sees Noun and Verb in the rocking chairs, discussing all things dynasty and immortal.

Noun - "I tell you, mum, it is common practice for immortals to be locked up once they achieve all of their requirements"

Verb - "Surely not! That is cruel and insimane punishment! Think of the immortals, please won't someone think of the immortals!"

Noun - "Well, you did try to sculpt the other day ..."

Verb - "I wanted to see why you enjoy it so much, that's all!"

Noun - "Well, please don't! I don't want to have to go through 25 ice sculptures again."

Verb - "As you wish! Besides, the clay went through my hair, how do you deal with that?"

Noun - "The clay makes my skin feel renewed. Though I am pleased to no longer do those metallic statues. Butt fires are old."

Verb - "I do wish I was able to cook though ... That kitchen with all those stoves, and I can't use them. I was an ace in home economics back in the day."

Noun - "No, we need to keep cooking open at this stage. I have the same urges around writing, you know ... but ..."

* An alarm sounds *

Watcher - "Warning warning Noun Grammar. Adjective Grammar has just picked up a skill point in sculpting."

Noun - *Sighs* "I should start an ice sculpture on each of the sculpting stations so that she can't do that."

Verb - "Or you could sell the extra ones."

Noun - "Well, we are at the stage where we don't need the money any more."

Verb - "When our descendent buys a fancy statue to destroy for scrap, we might need the extra money for fines."

Noun - *Sighs* "Well if they really want to deal with butt fires, they can, but as far as I'm concerned, it isn't worth it."

*Scream from the backyard*

Noun - "That was Paragraph"

*Both run to the outside, fearful but hopeful at the same time.*

Paragraph and Clause were together in one of the hot tubs, skinny dipping, and Sentence had hidden their clothes on them. The scream was in response to that.

Sentence - "Wife, Mum in law? Whatever is the problem? You look as though you've seen a ghost, or Grim or something ..."

Verb - "You three, we thought that one of you had been collected by Grim, so that Adjective and Tense could try for their daughter."

Sentence - "Oh, sorry. I guess I'd better unhide their clothes."

Paragraph - "Child!"

Clause - "If he were a child, we could never skinny dip with him around."

Noun *to Verb* - "You know, there is something to be said for keeping the non immortal elders locked up and unable to do anything/interact with anyone.

Verb - "We could arrange for the Watcher to build cells for the three of them, feed them once a day or something."

Watcher - "Warning warning Noun Grammar. Adjective Grammar has picked up another skill point in sculpting."

Sentence - "Noun, dear you might want to instead focus on stopping our daughter from wrecking your supermax."

Noun runs off to looking for Adjective at one of the sculpting stations around the house and introduce her to the joys of using the water slide.

Verb, meanwhile, returns to her rocking chair, as she waits her next day of work as an art appraiser.

The mortal oldies dress (where appropriate) and return to their instruments.

The above did happen, just on different days in game! I'm waiting for deaths to occur, but wanted to post something. Photos to be posted. Also, I created a new word in the above - insimane - rather than inhumane - they aren't humans, so inhuman wasn't overly appropriate (and I didn't want anyone to think I was speaking about a particular group from Marvel Comics).

Also, a shout out to those people who do use cells and the like to keep their immortal out of danger of destroying other supermaxed skills. I've tried that in the past, but I'm always there, micromanaging them anyway, so letting them go free range suits me better.

I keep mine busy by not letting my immortals retire (and when they go from self employed careers to rabbithole careers for opportunities), however they do have a long long time of being at home between shifts, so I purchased water slides, hopscotch courts, instruments and the like for them to spend their time on. They aren't necessary always interested in using them, unfortunately and find the sculpting station much more interesting to play with. Painting is also free for all, so I regularly send them off to paint.

I build a fence with a locked gate around my sculpting stations. I never lock my immortals up, I lock them out.

All three elderly mortals are 80/81 days old. Gen 3 is YA. I'm certain all 3 elderly mortals can't live until they are 100 (famous last words, I know). Still, everyone is enjoying playing music, and Bonehilda is having fun playing hopscotch!
