Sick Child
« on: February 25, 2015, 02:51:58 PM »
Hi, I just got a surprise last night. One of my sim children got the "germy" moodlet. He had a field trip the next day. Try as I might, I could not send him to school. I just kept getting msgs "sorry you're ill, I hope you feel better soon," and "Thank you for keeping your sick child at home." I have never had this before! Did this come w/SN?

That's really weird b/c I've never had it before. Maybe I've just never had a "germy" child going to school before! lol

You can send them to school, but after 8AM is when I think the game gives the "thanks for keeping them home" prompt if they're not at school or going there yet.

I've not been able to send my sim kid to school at all if they get the germy moodlet. Even if I teleport them over to the school, they can't get in; it just says that "school is not in session." :(

Yes, they cannot attend school while they are sick. They need to stay home and rest like a real kiddo, lol. Or, you may be able to take him to the hospital and get the allergy shot. I know adults can do that.

Usually the kid goes to school. Either that or just before the message they get scolded.
I'm neurotic all right...
