Window Orientation
« on: March 02, 2015, 06:38:04 AM »
Hi! I've only just downloaded sims 4 after having a real long break from sims 3 and I am finding it a little difficult. My main annoyance would be with using the mouse to orientate and move around. I told it to revert to the second type of controls that are more like sims 3, and that's great except for one thing: When I put the mouse on the edge of the window to move, it won't work if there's an info box in the way, like there often is at the bottom in build mode. Has anyone found a way around that?

The only way I've found around that in build mode is move the mouse to the bottom left corner of the screen and it will move down and left. Or switch to a build option where the info box doesn't cover the whole bottom of the screen. Like the Family Inventory or Objects by Room. Then you can move you cursor to the bottom of the screen to move down.
A clear conscience is usually a sign of a bad memory.

Thanks grimsoul. A pity EA has not fixed this.
