Disappearing Angelfish. Want to make Ambrosia

Hello, everyone!
I have (well, I had) an angelfish - on my way to progressing up for Ambrosia-making. However I've had to go back a couple of saves, as my latest save no longer has the Angelfish (wah!) I am assuming one of my Sims used it in cooking, as I certainly didn't move that fish anywhere. It was always in the Dad's inventory.
I don't have any gamepacks that have anywhere to store the fish safely. (If such a place exists), so I wondered how to make SURE nobody uses that precious angelfish!

I always put mine in a goldfish bowl ($60 each, in miscellaneous activities). If you have the Spa set, you can get an aquarium and store 5 angelfish there. If your sim decided to make a dish with fish as one of the ingredients, or if you direct him to do that, the fish in his inventory will be used.

Not nearly as nice looking but you can also make a doorless basement and just lie the angelfish on the floor! They still work perfectly for ambrosia.  Least this way they are protected from accidental cooking and you don't have to shell out money for a fish bowl!

I actually had built a little house in the back yard, but it haunted me, for want of a better word, so I was thrilled to bits to buy that aquarium!

I went one step further.  I built an "ambrosia room" complete with a stove, etc., and lots of those industrial looking shelves.  I keep all my bowls of angelfish, youth potions and death flowers in them and just to be extra careful, I lock the door!
