Painting and art lover trait

I noticed that painting small paintings increase fun bar for art lover trait sims . No fun increase however for medium or large paintings. Which behavior is normal and which is buggy? Or this is how is suppose to be ?

For my Sims, the creative trait increases fun for all sized paintings, and art lover doesn't increase fun for any paintings I've seen.

I just made a Sim with the same traits as yours, and tried painting different sizes.  I had the same result as you.  Only painting the small paintings was fun.  So I'm guessing this is the way it is in everyone's games.  This seems like a mistake, but it's hard to know what was intended.

Edit:  I only tried this with classic paintings.
