Sims 3 Pets: Cat Person vs Animal Lover?

Are there any advantages to the Cat Person trait over the Animal Lover trait? Obviously Animal Lover affects all animals, whereas Cat Person is obviously cat-specific. But are there any differences in how the two traits impact the Sim's interactions with cats?
